Scope of Work
Trains others in providing 1:1 ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy to children in the CARE (Collaborative Autism Resources and Education) program. Trains and monitors behavioral treatment delivered by CARE ABA tutor(s) and CARE practicum trainees; functions as an assistant on at least 2 cases by analyzing data, reviewing treatment progress, and determining appropriate goals (curriculum development) as directed by TLF HOPE Center Clinical Manager.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field; minimum of 500 hours of supervised experience in the application of behavioral principles to children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders required.Previous ABA Tutor experience required.Strong organizational and social skills, able to interact appropriately with young developmentally delayed children, manage numerous tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment; to interact with parents, staff and school personnel in a professional manner. Ability to give and receive feedback in a professional manner; ability to train others to implement curriculum and behavioral interventions as directed by the Clinical Manager.
