Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking highly motivated and innovative Service professionals who are eager to join ABB, either now or in the future. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of our talent pool and be considered for upcoming Service roles across various regions and customer sites.In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work with low to medium complexity as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Each day, you will plan and execute work on a first-time right approach with customers. You will also showcase your expertise by displaying a clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in your own area of responsibility.The work model for the role is: #LI – Onsite.This role contributes significantly to the various business divisions of ABB.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tWorking with the customer (while on-site) to identify opportunities to improve the customer’s operations and eliminate pain points.•\tPerforming field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products.•\tPreparing material lists needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities.•\tTroubleshooting equipment/process failures, requesting proactive corrective actions, and making recommendations to avoid such issues in the future.

Qualifications for the role

\tProficiency with systems such as:o\tDCS 800xAo\tAC500o\tMOD300o\tAC800Mo\tAnalyzers for liquid, water, and gaso\tField instruments (flow, level, transmitter, pressure)o\tExcitation systemso\tVariable Frequency Drives (VFDs)o\tTraction or wind power converterso\tLV switchgear (MCC, PCC, MCB, MCCB, PSS)o\tMV switchgear (AIS/GIS)\t3 to 15 years of experience in service or commissioning for any of the above products across all markets. \tDemonstrated passion for continuous learning and excellence in customer relationship management.\tA diploma or degree in engineering, preferably in electrical, electronics, or instrumentation.\tExceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.\tFlexibility and willingness to travel across India, including outside regular working hours, making you a valuable asset to our customers..Our hiring process for this role:As this is a talent pool, your application will be reviewed, and if your experience aligns with the role specifications and a suitable vacancy arises, you will be contacted by a member of the recruiting team who will explain more about the vacancy and the hiring process.
