About AbbVie Patient Services Marketing The AbbVie Patient Services (APS) Marketing Team leads efforts across multiple brands and therapeutic areas to deliver the best possible patient treatment experience and help patients achieve their full treatment plan potential. Role Overview This Marketing Manager role reports to the Associate Director of Marketing, APS Innovation and Portfolio, and is responsible for supporting the strategy development and execution of marketing initiatives at scale for the AbbVie Patient Services portfolio. This role requires a strong understanding of health care market dynamics, patient and provider user experience and needs, and the ability to work in a complex, matrixed environment. + Strategic Initiatives: Identify industry trends and competitive intelligence to optimize patient support programs and marketing initiatives. + Market Insights: Use market research and advisory boards to define strategic opportunities for engaging patients, providers, and office staff. + Initiative Development: Create and implement cross brand initiatives aligned with APS's strategic imperatives and marketing priorities. + Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Medical, Regulatory, Legal, OEC, BTS, and other teams for comprehensive governance of new initiatives. + Project Management: Deliver detailed marketing briefs, develop timelines, and manage potential barriers. + Campaign Evaluation: Partner with Analytics and Business Insights to measure campaign effectiveness and recommend optimizations. + Feasibility Assessments: Collaborate with technology and business design teams to explore and implement new capabilities. + Agency Management: Oversee relationships with creative, data, digital, and strategic marketing agencies. + Budget Management: Efficiently manage the marketing budget. + Campaign Execution: Plan and execute multi-brand marketing campaigns aligned with the APS portfolio. + Change Management: Optimize processes as marketing strategies evolve. + Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with marketing peers and cross-functional partners. Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hr day) is required Qualifications + Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred. + Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in healthcare, pharma, biotech, or diagnostics marketing. Digital marketing experience required. + Skills: Strong project management, planning, attention to detail, ability to analyze data and insights and MS Office proficiency. + Communication: Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills. + Agency Management: Experience managing multiple external agencies. + Problem-solving: Ability to balance strategy, analysis, creativity, and project scaling. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
