ABG & APAC HQ Strategy Lead
Overview This role will lead the Asia Beverages & GMD (ABG) strategy development and deployment across its constituent markets to deliver business impact and build capabilities. Will work with GCR, ANZ and ICF markets to bring APAC Strategy together to achieve APAC $14 Bn 2032 goal. Drive Sector Strategic Intiatives across BUs. Will work closely with GCR Strategy Lead without any reporting relationship and directly manage ANZ, Asia Beverages BU Strategy teams Will assist to facilitate the APAC annual strategic planning process to articulate key breakthrough strategies and business growth priorities Will also assist on delivering inorganic growth opportunities Build and maintain a strong consumer packaged goods and retail industry knowledge and network to ensure PEP has a clear competitive advantage and to track competitive performance Responsibilities Functional Responsibilities 1) Fully own & deliver Asia Beverages & GMD Strategic roadmap and operationalization. (Primary) 2) M&A and business development ex China – business case development & opportunity evaluation. 3) Own, communicate, drive operationalization of APAC $14 Bn 2032 strategy driving Sector SFI including full ownership for 1 or 2. (Primary) 4) Oversight to ANZ & ICF Strategy as needed 5) Lead BOD, PGM, SDD, Cost SDD for APAC incl integration with China. (Aggregator role): 6) Build Strategy talent in APAC –Strategy courses, supporting Talent Academy People Responsibilities 1) People Manager for ANZ & Asia BU Strategy teams 2) Rally key stakeholders in LT to collaboratively drive required changes for SFI execution across BUs and adopt new ways of working 3) Develop strong working relationships with cross functional teams Qualifications • MBA strongly preferred • 15+ years of experience, and with at least 5 years in leadership role • 10+ years post-MBA strategy consulting with top tier firm or internal consulting experience • Demonstrated success leading transformation and driving changes effectively. Prior execution of digital transformation projects highly considered • Structured logical thinker with ability to define problems and frameworks, demonstrate an understanding of key value drivers • Needs to interface well in groups from different cultures, fuctions and levels, sometimes with conflicting agenda/priorities; Able to collaborate within and across teams. Ability to engage the right individuals in decisions in appropriate ways across the organization, and keeps them apprised of changes and progress toward aligned outcomes. • Can effectively communicate (verbal and written) with internal and external stakeholders across all levels - Clear and concise with strong influencing ability.
