Job Description & Summary

This role will support PwC AC Manila Finance and Accounting team in initiating, developing, implementing and monitoring of various process improvement and compliance projects focusing on areas of financial management and reporting, general accounting, audit and compliance. 

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and develop process improvement and efficiencies in areas of general accounting, financial planning & analysis, finance operations and statutory compliance. 

Work with various stakeholders in implementing finance automation and genAI projects 

Identification of potential risks and develop mitigation strategies 

Implementation and monitoring of reporting alignment with US Finance 

Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders 

Essential Requirements:

Certified Public Accountant 

Minimum of 7 years' experience in areas of finance, accounting and auditing 

Big 4 audit experience required 

Preferred Experience / Skills:

Audit experience (internal or external) 

Background on business advisory and business process improvement 

Strong knowledge of IFRS and other local regulatory requirements 

Financial modeling experience  

Other Capabilities:

Ability to understand complex business transactions and offer and implement process improvement 

Be able to demonstrate resilience and manage conflicts positively 

Strong attention to detail 

Strong project management skills and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment
