Volt is immediately hiring for Quality Technician for a company located in Paramount CA.

As a Quality Technician, you will:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tComply with PCC Code of Conduct Requirements and all PCC Cardinal Rules (e.g. Quality and Safety).\r\n\tComply with Quality Policy and Quality Objectives established at company.\r\n\tReview router accuracy and compliance with purchase order, process specification, and prime contractor requirements.\r\n\tEnsure purchase order requirements and applicable specifications are flown down on the shop router.\r\n\tPerform purchase order data entry into shop traveler system to generate shop router.\r\n\tMaintain system documentation for specifications and documents required to perform material processing.\r\n\tNotify customers for any discrepancy found on the purchase order against the receiving slip.\r\n\tCommunicate quality inquiries and concerns to the customer in a timely manner.\r\n\tAssisting with daily clerical and administrative tasks, such as sending emails and filing.\r\n\tOther duties as assigned.\r\n\tFurnace Combustion Experience Required \r\n\r\n\r\n

This is a full-time opportunity. Monday-Friday

\r\n\r\n

1st shift 7am-3:30pm

\r\n\r\n

Pay Rate : $18.00 per hour

\r\n\r\n

The ideal candidate will have:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tAbility to read and write English.\r\n\tAbility to operate a forklift.\r\n\tWork near hot furnaces and material.\r\n\tAbility to use computer.\r\n\tknow basic math.\r\n\tPerform equipment calibrations using proper procedures (training in house)\r\n\tmanufacture in house thermocouples.\r\n\tFurnace combustion (optional. Preferred)\r\n\r\n\r\n
