Position Summary:
The Office of the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs is seeking a dynamic, skilled administrator to support the operations of the office focused on delivering high quality support for faculty awards and our retirees. Primary responsibilities include support for daily operations, awards administration, event planning, communications, and website design. This is a full-time position totaling 40 hours per week.

Workplace Requirements:
On campus position: This position is exclusively on-site, necessitating all duties to be performed in-person at the Allen Center M-F between 7am and 7pm. Per Rice policy 440, work arrangements may be subject to change and may evolve to a hybrid position once the probationary period has concluded.
Hiring Range: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
*Non-Exempt (hourly) positions under FLSA are eligible for overtime.
Minimum Requirements:
Associate’s degree 3+ years of related experience In lieu of the education/experience requirement, additional related education and/or experience, above and beyond what is required, may be substituted on an equivalent year-for-year basis.Skills:
