Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Academic Advisor located in PST. In this role, you will be a key player in guiding employees through their chosen education programs, ensuring smooth transitions and consistent progress. You will work closely with program advisors, provide assistance in goal setting, time management, and overcoming academic challenges. Responsibilities: • Establish an effective communication channel with employees, implementing outbound communication tools and methodologies. • Collaborate with program advisors to facilitate seamless transitions for employees into their respective education programs. • Assist in setting academic goals, developing study habits, and managing time effectively. • Provide guidance to employees facing academic difficulties and connect them with the necessary resources such as tutoring services or academic support programs. • Monitor the academic progress of students, provide constructive feedback on their performance, and identify areas requiring improvement. • Keep track of important milestones and deadlines, proactively remind employees, and ensure they are adhering to their education plans. • Conduct regular assessments of employee progress and celebrate their academic achievements. • Develop and conduct workshops on academic success, study skills, and time management. • Maintain a positive rapport with employees, employers, and educational institutions. Requirements + MUST HAVE 4 year DEGREE- MUST be in PST • A minimum of 2 years of experience in academic advising or a related field • Proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite • Experience working with CRM systems, preferably in an educational setting • Knowledge and experience in using Epic Software • Familiarity with About Time software would be an advantage • Proven experience in answering inbound calls in a detail oriented manner • Ability to assist customers effectively, resolving any issues promptly • Experience in managing benefit functions in an academic setting • Hands-on experience with billing functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
