Position Overview:
As an Academic and Career Advisor at Universal Technical Institute, you’ll embark on a journey to empower students from day one through graduation and beyond! Your bilingual skills in Spanish and English will be invaluable in providing comprehensive support to a diverse student body, ensuring their academic success and career readiness.
What We Offer:
$50,000 - $55,000 per yearWeekends OFFPaid TrainingFREE Tuition for you AND your Immediate FamilyMedical/Dental/Vision/Life Ins/STD & LTD Ins401K, Paid Holidays, Paid Time OffResponsibilities Coordinate new student orientation and registration to ensure a smooth transition into academic life.Foster a vibrant campus community through engaging student activities and events.Support students in their job search by organizing career fairs and resume workshops.Monitor student progress and provide academic and career advising as needed.Ensure compliance with educational standards and support various student services functions. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.Experience: 2-3 years in education or related field preferred.Certifications: Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.Skills:Ability to advise and guide adult learners.Proficiency in MS Office.Strong organizational skills.Excellent communication.A passion for student success.
