Job Description:
This position provides administrative support for faculty leadership, academic support for graduate program and faculty actions, purchasing and reimbursements, meeting support, communications, and event-planning coordination, for the Department of Health Services, Policy & Practice.
Education and ExperienceBachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of expertise and education with a minimum of two (2) to four (4) years’ relevant experience. Experience in an academic setting highly preferred.
Job Competencies
+ Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Good command of English language and grammar necessary
+ Initiative and ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
+ Effective interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills.
+ Computer proficiency
+ Multitasking and ability to pivot in a fast-paced environment
+ Physical demands associated with this position include lifting catering supplies weighing up to 20 pounds, transferring catering items quickly throughout the building for various meetings and events.
