Job Description:
This position provides administrative support for faculty leadership, academic support for graduate program and faculty actions, purchasing and reimbursements, meeting support, communications, and event-planning coordination, for the Department of Health Services, Policy & Practice.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of expertise and education with a minimum of two (2) to four (4) years’ relevant experience. Experience in an academic setting highly preferred.
Job Competencies
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Good command of English language and grammar necessary
Initiative and ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Effective interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills.
Computer proficiency
Multitasking and ability to pivot in a fast-paced environment
Physical demands associated with this position include lifting catering supplies weighing up to 20 pounds, transferring catering items quickly throughout the building for various meetings and events.
