As such, CoSW is hiring a Senior Academic Coordinator.
Working in collaboration with the Associate Dean of Academic and Student Affairs, Program Directors, and other student services faculty and staff, the Senior Academic Coordinator will coordinate academic initiatives and programs to meet academic degree, accreditation, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities will include:
Curricular Programmatic Oversight Schedule, execute, and assess academic culmination projects, including residency periods and comprehensive examinations. Identify and implement semester deployment procedures in conjunction with program directors and eLearning personnel. Track compliance with redevelopment timeline for online courses.
Academic Outreach Coordinate part-time instructor onboarding, to include monitoring course assignments Manage course coordinator initiative and provide programmatic support, as needed. Implement and track New Student Orientation Maintain database of pertinent information for dissemination via monthly student communications
Regulatory and Quality Compliance Support program director in monitoring state compliance associated with licensing Oversee day-to-day activities associated with quality certification for courses Complete student requests for licensure documentation Develop and maintain tracking of part-time instructor (PTI) training compliance to include FERPA, orientation training, and other criteria associated with PTI advancement
Accreditation Process Coordination Collate and assess data needed for curriculum accreditation processes Develop reports pertaining to academic outcomes, as needed Facilitate completion of forms for SACSOC reporting Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
