**Job Summary:**
The **Academic Program Manager, Grad-Nursing** works directly with the **Nursing Assistant Dean** and/or other designated faculty member(s) managing academic-related issues. The Academic Program Manager oversees and monitors the cultivation, evaluation, and interview processes for matriculating and matriculated students at AHU in the Department of **Nursing Graduate Programs** . The Academic Program Manager takes a lead role to ensure these processes run smoothly and efficiently for program applicants, new student interviews, current students, department Dean, faculty, staff, and other stakeholders. Additionally, the Academic Program Manager facilitates a smooth transition for accepted students into the Graduate Nursing Programs. The Academic Program Manager collaborates with the Dean and Assistant Dean of Graduate Nursing Programs to ensure the programs maintain compliance with the CCNE Standards for Accreditation as they relate to the academic components of the program. The Academic Program Manager is charged with upholding policy and procedure set by the Nursing Department, University, and its committees. The Academic Program Manager actively exemplifies outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
**You Will Be Responsible For:**
Demonstrates behaviors at AdventHealth University in harmony with AHU’s “Four Words” of Nurture, Excellence, Spirituality, and Stewardship as well as AdventHealth’s Performance Standards of “Keep Me Safe, Love Me, Make it Easy, and Own It.”
+ Develop and conduct program admissions information sessions (in-person and virtual)
+ Manage and document the communication process (email, text, phone) in the PAEA portal, student and program information, and admission data, using best practices for the frequency, accuracy, and tone of information shared
+ Manage organizational, logistic, and implementation efforts of applicant interviews and interview day training sessions in collaboration with the Assistant Dean of Graduate Nursing Programs
+ Prepare formal and timely Program Coordinators/Directors Acknowledgement of Acceptance documentation for each accepted student
+ Manage student onboarding for entry into the Graduate Nursing Programs, ensuring timely turnaround of student equipment needs and new student program health document processing to complete applicant files and identify opportunities for efficiency
+ Facilitate a smooth transition for accepted students into the Graduate Nursing Programs
+ Responsible for and monitors the efficient execution of the cultivation, evaluation, and admissions processes for students, ensuring documents and data collection are in place and maintained for the Graduate Nursing Programs.
+ Supervise, orient, and manage scheduling of Graduate Nursing Adjuncts for the Graduate Nursing Programs
Qualifications
**What Will You Need:**
**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Higher Education, Business, Psychology, or related field
+ Must have a minimum of 3-three years' experience in academic processes with customer service and communication strategies
