Program Summary

KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces and civilians deployed around the world under KBR’s Strategic Army Portfolio.  KBR’s enduring mission support of the DoD Armed Forces dates back to 1992 when we served as the Army’s original prime contractor for its Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP). Today, we have a workforce of 5,000 people representing 30 nationalities who perform work in 10 countries.  Under the Agriculture Cleaning and African Swine Fever (ASF) Sanitization (ACAS) contract; KBR will manage and perform the receipt, storage, maintenance, cleaning and sanitation of vehicles and property.

Job Summary

As a Cost Control Specialist, you will support the financial management and cost control functions within the program by applying task order (TO) financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with program requirements.

Please note: This position will be located on-site, in multiple countries across the Eastern EU and is contingent upon award.

Roles and Responsibilities

Works with the Program Manager (PM) to define financial objectives and assists in developing financial solutions that integrate with business processes.Conducts cost analysis, financial forecasting, and prepares financial reports for ongoing program monitoring.Assists with working capital tasks such as invoicing, accruals, and managing unbilled costs, providing revenue projections and variance analysis.Supports the development of ROMs/BOMs for CSRs related to agricultural cleaning and sanitization, contributing to financial deliverables and updates to portal financial data.Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

Must be able to pass a U.S. Government background investigation and obtain a NACI. Due to this, you must be a U.S. Citizen or a U.S. Green Card holder who has lived within the United States for at least the last 3 years to be eligible for this position.Must have a Bachelor's Degree and at least 4 years of experience in project controls or cost management. An additional 4 years of directly related professional Cost experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.Requires strong English proficiency (Level II) in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension.Requires in-depth computer skills, with a preference for a programming background.Must be proficient in Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.Must be self-motivated.Must be detail-oriented and have excellent business ethics.Requires a high level of professionalism and customer service.Requires effective communication and interpersonal skills at all levels of project management and within various departments.Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.
