Job Overview:

Accurately schedule all patients in facility systems. To accurately and promptly collect all pertinent information at the initial point of registration to insure the proper billing occurs, which will enhance timely cash flow and reduce the days in accounts receivable. Performs all duties assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Required:

High School Diploma or G.E.D EquivalentMinimum of 2-3 years previous office experienceExcellent secretarial skills including written and verbal communication skillsAbility to transcribe from dictation equipment or handwritten notes a variety of information, and types into final from medical reports, letters and related documentsStrong interpersonal relations.

Preferred:

Secretarial/business school training, including word-processing and computer applicationsDirect knowledge of hospital procedures and medical terminology Typing skill of 60 wpm Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel. Knowledge of PowerPoint and Access

Scheduling Requirements:

Shift Working: Days may vary (Rotation between three (3) offices)No WeekendsDays to Work: Flexible Hours (7:00AM-3:00PM, 8:00AM-4:00PM or 9:00AM-5:00PM)Part-Time, 22.5 Hours Per Week
