This is a non-union positionWe are looking for an Access Control Advisor to join our team!
The primary goal of this role is to lead a team of day-to-day security vendors managing the organization's physical access control, credentialing, and overseeing security technology systems(s). In this position, you will be implementing, leading, and monitoring access controls, ensuring compliance with security policies, and providing support during incidents.

What You Will Do:Responsible for oversight over security vendors, including service level agreements and KPI stewardship
Manage and monitor access control systems
Credentialing for personnel as well as assign and revoke access rights as needed
Perform regular security assurances and generate reports
Respond to access control incidents and troubleshoot issues
Train staff in policies and system usage
Maintain logs and records of access control activities
Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations
Enforce access control policies and procedures
Conduct security risk assessments and recommend access control solutions
Conduct security compliance reviews making recommendations for improvements
Conducting security awareness sessions for all employees
Troubleshoot access control systems and resolve technical issues
Support on site security responses and emergencies
Manage service ticketing systems for Enterprise Security
Oversee security vendors, service level agreements, and KPI’s stewardship
Assist in execution of integrated management system goals, objectives, and targets
Who You Are:
Required:
High school diploma.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in access control systems oversight at commercial offices.
Proficiency with the Genetic access management software / access control systems.
Advanced user of Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint
Demonstrated leadership of small teams.
Preferred:
Associated degree and or equivalent education in the fields of business, information technologies, criminal justice, and security.
Strong preference for Energy Sector experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, security related fields, and or equivalent education / experience.
Familiarity with various types of access control technologies such as LENEL.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Superb communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Available for on-call response and emergencies
Proficient with ServiceNow applications and Encompass (Enablon)
Working Conditions:
Work will be conducted mainly in the office environment with field visits.
Moderate Travel will be required.
