Your Opportunity
This full-time role is about making an impact on people’s lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As an Access Control Specialist in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the Operations Support Business Line in the Installed Base Business Unit. Your work will include:
+ Perform tasks to help make determinations regarding requests for unescorted access authorization (UAA) in accordance with NRC Regulations 10 CFR 26 and 10 CFR 73.56.
+ Following all company and regulatory procedures as well as any industry guidelines.
+ Utilizing manual and electronic systems, determine an individual’s qualifications for access authorization based on the applicable Utility’s criteria and prepare/submit the highly accurate documentation required to the appropriate NRC licensees.
+ Help maintain the tracking in the Behavior Observation Program (BOP) by ensuring compliance with regulatory and Framatome requirements. This will require direct communication with Supervisors and Managers of each Business Unit to help reinforce the requirements and support annual Supervisor reviews.
+ Interface with employees and subcontractors to determine reliability and trustworthiness for access authorization by getting personal and confidential information regarding background investigations, psychological evaluation, drug/alcohol testing and/or use.
+ Interface with customers, suppliers, vendors, or other agencies on issues related to access authorization.
+ Interface with the internal Framatome Business Units to assist with scheduling of psychological testing and/or physical appointments.
+ Support regulatory compliance audits as well as help coordinate or assign any follow up actions to resolve any audit findings or suggestions.
+ Must successfully complete/pass background investigation, behavioral testing/evaluation, and Fitness for Duty (FFD) testing. This requirement mirrors the requirements for nuclear power plant personnel and is required every 5 years.

Your Total Rewards Package
The range of base salary for the position is between $55,000 - $71,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
