To be eligible for appointment as a Student Worker Paraprofessional Senior you must be enrolled in a post-secondary or graduate program or plan to enroll within three months. Students may be "off" for the summer or for one semester/quarter and remain employed as a student worker, but such absences cannot exceed one semester/quarter in a year. If you are enrolled at a credit-granting institution, you must carry at least six semester/nine quarter credits. If enrolled at a non-credit granting institution or one that only offers one credit per class, you must be taking two or more classes per semester/quarter. Any lesser credit (class) load will be treated as a semester/quarter off. Graduate students must be enrolled in at least two courses or making progress on a dissertation. You will be asked to complete an Educational Verification form prior to appointment. **Minimum Qualifications** To be qualified for and considered for this position, applicants must meet all of the minimum qualifications listed below. Ensure that your resume contains descriptions of your work experiences sufficient for comparison against the requirements stated below and indicate the beginning and ending month and year for each job held. + Completion of two (2) years of post-secondary education in Human Resources, Education, Public Policy, or closely related field. Applicants that meet the education requirements listed above will be further assessed on the following: + Knowledge of standard computer software programs for word processing, spreadsheets, and databases sufficient to create and modify reports. + Ability to compile, research, and analyze information from databases. + Writing skills sufficient to communicate and update work plan documents, draft letters, and other documents. **Preferred Qualifications** The following qualifications are strongly desired of applicants seeking consideration for this position: + Working knowledge of regulatory compliance, civil rights, and labor law, and/or diversity, equity and inclusion programming. + Working knowledge of basic statistical methods, practices, and procedures. **Physical Requirements** The selected finalist is required to review and sign a Physical Demands Analysis (PDA) for this position.
