Access Manager Position Summary
The Access Manager for TidalHealth Medical Partners is responsible for onboarding all patient access new hires into the department(s). Under direction of the Director, the Access Manager performs specific functions requiring specialized education or training, such as, knowledge of front desk workflows, standard operating procedures as it relates to the front desk and registration in an ambulatory environment. This position coordinates the on-boarding of all new front desk team members, including start date, training, and workflows. This position also is responsible for communicating and training for all EPIC EMR upgrades as it relates to the front desk and registration. This role works closely with all practice managers to ensure front desk workflows are implemented and followed as per organizational policy.
Access Manager Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Associates Degree with a focus in business, management, or related courses preferred.
Access Manager Experience:
Five (5) years of experience in a healthcare or business setting required. Supervisory experience is preferred. Experience with multiple computer/electronic applications to include but not limited to: Epic, NetLearning, Medical Information System (HPF) and Microsoft Applications.
Access Manager Schedule:
Primarily day shift, Monday through Friday. Evenings and weekends may be required as needed.
