Short Description:  The Identification and Access manager is a member of the Identity Management and Access Team providing identity and access management services to the Univ of IA Health Care.
Complete Description:  The position involves analyzing user and business requirements and designing solutions for systems.  The position requires learning and understanding the systems unique to the University of Iowa Hospitals and  understanding the controls and access requirements involved and assigning the appropriate access and permissions to hospital users.
Comply with confidentiality requirements as set by HIPAA, FERPA, federal, state and local regulations.
Resource will touch various systems such as Epic, Eldorado and other systems used by Univ of IA Hospitals.  The resource will possess an understanding of system access and training on specific systems will be provided.
The Security Analyst (SA) has an understanding of all aspects of computer and network security, including network protocols and account creations.  Strong oral and written communication, analytical and problem-solving skills as well as excellent judgment and self-motivation.  Able to multitask and work well under pressure.  Knowledgeable of industry security trends and developments as well as applicable government regulations.
