A new exciting field-based opportunity has arisen for an experienced professional to serve as Access Reimbursement Manager (ARM). This is a customer-facing role responsible for developing strong, long-term relationships with clients in assigned accounts such as Immunology, Cardiovascular, Neurology, Oncology, and/or Hematology. The ARM provides information and resources in a professional, ethical, and efficient manner to support a clinical decision to use BMS products. This role also provides support and information pertaining to the acquisition, coverage, coding, reimbursement, and affordability of BMS products. 

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains professional contacts with office staff in private practice, medical group

practices and/or hospitals, pharmacies, and others in the patient care continuum.

• Appropriately create awareness about BMS Patient Assistance and Support Programs with HCPs and

their staff and respond to customer questions in an appropriate and timely manner.

• Interacts with customers to provide education and services pertaining to the acquisition, access,

coverage, coding, reimbursement, and affordability of BMS products.

• Develops deep market access expertise in the assigned geography and anticipates implications for

brands (and their key competitors) in the Immunology, Cardiovascular, Neurology, Oncology and/or

Hematology Portfolios.

• Fosters team effectiveness with matrix team by compliantly sharing knowledge, experience, and

information.

• Provides Home Office approved reimbursement-related training to District Managers and sales

representatives within their own geography, as appropriate.

• Complies with all laws, regulations, and policies that govern the conduct of BMS.

Qualifications & Experience

• Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Has demonstrated performance in the following skills: strategic analysis, leadership, teambuilding, and

problem-solving.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required with a minimum of 3+ years of pharmaceuticals and/or related

healthcare experience.

• Account management skills, experience in reimbursement and affordability, as well as having had prior

customer-facing roles, preferred.

• Prior work experience on therapeutic areas such as rheumatology, multiple sclerosis, gastroenterology, mental

health, dermatology, cardiology, oncology and/or hematology, preferred.

• Demonstrated strengths in BMS Values – urgency, inclusion, passion, accountability, innovation, and integrity.

• Fully Bilingual: English/Spanish.

• Field-based role, with travel within territory of at least 75% of the time.

This structure includes site-essential, site-by-design, field-based and remote-by-design jobs. The occupancy type that you are assigned is determined by the nature and responsibilities of your role:

Site-essential roles require 100% of shifts onsite at your assigned facility. Site-by-design roles may be eligible for a hybrid work model with at least 50% onsite at your assigned facility. For these roles, onsite presence is considered an essential job function and is critical to collaboration, innovation, productivity, and a positive Company culture. For field-based and remote-by-design roles the ability to physically travel to visit customers, patients or business partners and to attend meetings on behalf of BMS as directed is an essential job function.
