Responsibilities: + Identify accessibility challenges and provide effective solutions for mobile applications using React Native, while conducting training sessions to educate teams on accessibility best practices within the React Native framework. + Act as one of the go-to SMEs on accessibility, WCAG guidelines and code-level remediation solutions for junior accessibility team members; provide regular audit reviews to ensure internal compliance with best practices + Conduct PDF remediation using Adobe Acrobat, identifying and fixing accessibility issues, ensuring documents meet WCAG 2.1/2.2 compliance. + Preparing, running and reporting on feedback from user reviews and WCAG Audits + Be an educational resource to product teams, and running office hours + Running multiple projects with different customers + Keeping track of the program status Qualifications: + 5+ years of experience in a professional Accessibility specialist and React Native developer capacity + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience + Deep technical knowledge of accessibility; ability to provide code-level remediation and lead discussions with developers + Experience in and deep understanding of WCAG checkpoints + Proficient in React Native, with experience in fixing Accessibility bugs and providing solutions and guidance to customers. + Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. + Skilled in PDF remediation using Adobe Acrobat, ensuring documents meet WCAG compliance standards. + Consulting agency experience and strong customer-facing skills + Self-starter, self-motivated, rolling up your sleeves with a focus on getting things done + Effectively multi task and manage concurrent activities + Comfortable working in a matrix environment across the organization in a collaborative manner
