Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accessioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for aliquoting and preparing all samples post-blood draw, supporting phlebotomists, using and troubleshooting the centrifuge, and advising on the appropriate tubes for various tests.

ResponsibilitiesAliquot and prepare all samples once blood is drawn.Support phlebotomists on shift with samples post-blood draw.Use centrifuge to correctly process samples.Troubleshoot centrifuge instrument when issues arise.Support phlebotomists with any errors related to tube types and advise on appropriate tubes for different tests.Essential SkillsPhlebotomy experience.Experience with centrifuge operation and troubleshooting.Knowledge of different specimen tubes.Experience with aliquoting and sample preparation for blood samples.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Work Environment

This role is based in an oncology office where you will be standing at a desk for the majority of your shift. You will have the opportunity to gain exposure to office physician operations while representing a larger lab and network. This is a Contract-to-Hire (CTH) opportunity.
