Job Description

The Accessioner will be responsible for handling all specimens and lab samples in a safe and efficient manner, reviewing specimen packages for complete information, and routing/delivering specimens to the appropriate destination within the lab.

The work environment consists of a very large diagnostic lab space, serving as the central lab for all LabCorp patient samples in Oregon and SW Washington. It is a fast-paced, high-throughput environment. The busiest shift typically processes samples that need to be returned within a 24-48 hour window, often at night. The location is LabCorp Halsey Laboratory for Oregon & SW Washington at 4400 NE Halsey Street, Building 3, Portland, OR. Contracts are initially slated for 3 months, with the possibility of extension and potential for direct hire depending on business needs and performance. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.50 - $27.20
