Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accessioner in the Health Pharm/Biotech industry in Charleston, South Carolina. As an Accessioner, you will be responsible for accurately capturing and processing laboratory report details, as well as maintaining and managing doctor-patient communications. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and proficiency in data-related tasks. Responsibilities: • Accurately process laboratory reports generated from blood tests or swab tests • Input information from the report into a letter or email correspondence to be sent to the ordering doctor • In some cases, communicate the report details directly to the patient • Maintain accurate records of all processed reports • Monitor and manage doctor-patient communications related to the reports • Utilize Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet software to organize and analyze data • Apply basic computer skills and data science principles to improve efficiency and accuracy • Code and categorize report details for easy retrieval and reference • Ensure all tasks are performed in a business casual work environment. Requirements • Strong proficiency in Data Entry is required, with an emphasis on accuracy and speed • Familiarity with Data Science principles and methodologies • Possession of Basic Computer Skills, including word processing, email, and internet navigation • Proficiency in Excel, including the ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets • Experience with Excel, including the use of formulas and functions • Ability to create, edit, and manage Spreadsheets for data organization and analysis • Strong analytical skills, with a focus on data analysis and interpretation • Basic understanding of Coding, with the ability to learn new programming languages as needed.
