BE PART OF THE CONNECTION

As an Accommodation Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for processing claims and communicating accommodation options following written guidelines and procedures pursuant to ADA, state and/or Spectrum’s requirements. You will focus on reasonable accommodation administration. You’ll also be responsible for processing employee requests and associated transactions while maintaining Service Level Agreements by applying customer service satisfaction techniques with the efficient, timely and accurate use of resources. WHAT OUR ACCOMMODATION COORDINATORS ENJOY MOST

Informing employee of documentation required to process accommodation claims, required time frames, and claims status either by phone, written correspondence and/or claims systemRequesting medical information to determine if the employee meets the requirements under federal ADA, state, and/or Charter requirements for a qualifying conditionDemonstrating the highest degree of accuracy, courtesy and professionalism to resolve customer issues and routine HR questionsUpdating the case management system with transaction specific information and supporting documentationAchieving and maintaining expertise to navigate and accurately record information with several business systems/applications including HR data (PeopleSoft), case management tracking (HR Helpdesk) and vendor websitesApplying knowledge of HR programs, policies, Benefit plans, to quickly resolve customer issues or concernsBeing responsible for escalation of issues in a timely manner to ensure an effective end user experience while remaining engaged in resolving the issueManaging time effectively to ensure customer satisfaction results and adherence to Service Level Agreements 

You’ll serve as a primary point of contact for administration of accommodation claims; seldom are two days the same. WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications

Experience: Human resources experience 1-3 year(s)Education: Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, related field; or equivalent work experienceTechnical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Excel and WordSkills: High level of analytical and interpretive skills. Clear and effective verbal and written communication skillsAbilities: Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Can problem solve in a high volume production oriented environment. Can maintain confidentiality. Can work in a team environmentTravel Ability: Office work environmentSchedule: Must be able to work the hours between 8am-8pm EST, Monday-Friday. Ability to work a flexible schedule 

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of leave of absence, FMLA, STD, LTD, ADA and workers’ compensation administrationClaims management experience
