This position is responsible for supporting Finance staff in the accurate, complete and timely processing of accounts payable, payroll, and business expenses for the Department of Transportation’s Metro District. Individuals must be legally authorized to work in the US at the start of employment. This position is located at Waters Edge in Roseville. The incumbent will have the flexibility to work in the office or a hybrid schedule. The incumbent will be required to report onsite at least once/month but may be required to work onsite more depending on business needs. If working a hybrid schedule, the incumbent will be required to make a telework arrangement with their supervisor. **Minimum Qualifications** • Knowledge of basic accounting sufficient to identify and resolve discrepancies in accounting records. • Ability to accurately input, verify, and edit electronic data. • Skill in using advanced spreadsheets features such as formula creation to manipulate and sort data. • Ability to interpret and explain accounting and related fiscal policies, procedures, and practices to customers. **Additional Requirements** It is our policy that the successful candidate pass a background check prior to employment.
