Job Summary: 

Acrisure has a current need for a full-time Commercial Lines Account Coordinator. This individual supports the agency’s clients in compliance with Acrisure’s standards, policies, procedures, and processes. Under the direction of the P&C Senior Service Manager – the CL Account Coordinator is responsible for providing insurance-related tasks in servicing accounts, including providing coverage consultation and advice to clients. The success of this role is measured by the ability to meet deadlines, produce a quality work product in a fast-paced environment, and provide positive team participation and support. 

 

Responsibilities: 

Answer client calls and emails, providing prompt support for all service-related items to the client and team. 

Prepare loss history: Request loss runs from companies and complete loss summary as needed. Evaluate loss analysis and ensure accuracy before submittal to Account Managers for renewal submissions. 

Maintain Certificate of Insurance List and create a master template for COI’s. 

Issuance of COI’s and Evidence of Insurance. 

Insurance Requirement Review, including procuring quotes for endorsements and additional coverages as needed. 

Policy Checking - check policies against Proposal/Application in the Management System for accuracy and complete checklist. Update as needed making any necessary changes. 

Review company audits for accuracy and follow up on additional premiums as required according to best practices. 

Provides timely, professional, accurate, communication to client, team, carrier representatives, and underwriters. 

Enjoys a fast-paced work environment. 

Maintains current knowledge of lines of coverage and products. 

Ability to make decisions independently based on knowledge of insurance products and utilizing professional judgment. 

Maintains required electronic files accurately and consistently. 

Will work in a high communication role with Team and drive activities based on reports and initiatives of the week. 

Ability and willingness to acquire additional education and certifications as required for the position. 

Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.

Requirements: 

Excellent project management, time management, and prioritization skills. 

Knowledge of business English, proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation. 

Attention to detail and commitment to a high level of accuracy.

Competent and proficient understanding of the Microsoft Office suite. 

 

Education/Experience: 

High School diploma or equivalent. 

Possess a Property and Casualty license or be willing/able to acquire one within 6 months of the hire date. 

1-2 years’ experience in large commercial servicing is preferred, but not required. 

Maintain license continuing education requirements.
