As the Country Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing property-related operations, strategy, and management across the entire country. Your role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, optimizing property assets, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Country Lead for Japan is to carry out the additional duties and requirements as may be required by the SCB Organization and endorsed by the SCB Cluster Lead for China and Japan. This will typically extend to delegated management and administration requirements that would normally be fulfilled by the SCB, Country Head of Property function.

Oversee all properties owned or leased by the bank within the country. Optimize property utilization, cost efficiency, and performance. Manage lease negotiations, renewals, and terminations.Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with senior management, business units, and external partners. Communicate property-related updates, risks, and opportunities. Foster positive relationships with property owners and tenants.Financial Oversight:
Prepare property budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. Monitor expenses, rental income, and property valuations. Ensure compliance with financial regulations.Risk Mitigation and Compliance:
Assess property-related risks (e.g., safety, legal, environmental). Implement risk mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.Sustainability and Innovation:
Promote sustainable practices within the property portfolio. Explore innovative technologies and trends (e.g., smart buildings). Drive energy efficiency and environmental initiatives.Team Leadership:
