\nThe Account Development Manager (ADM) plays a vital role in driving growth by deepening relationships with existing clients and re-engaging lapsed accounts. This individual will focus on identifying and managing a pipeline of opportunities within our current client base to expand our footprint within the organization. Additionally, they will develop targeted strategies to win back past clients, leveraging a consultative approach and industry expertise to build trust and loyalty.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
\n\nAchieve sales goals measured quarterly while providing an excellent experience to your prospects\nAct as the point of contact and business partner for a dedicated portfolio of PitchBook’s clients and prospects via in-person meetings, phone, and/or email\nIdentify growth opportunities to expand existing user base within portfolio of accounts to achieve and consistently exceed sales and retention goals\nDevelop and own the long-term strategy; define growth goals and execution plans to increase engagement and footprint with clients over a multi-year time horizon\nConduct client demonstration sessions designed to highlight how the PitchBook platform addresses the needs of the account and individual end users with a consultative approach\nWork collaboratively with designated Account Managers and Customer Success Associates to strategize on account growth opportunities\nEfficiently and thoroughly manage your pipeline and oversee the end-to-end sales cycle\nUse Catalyst and Salesforce to effectively manage client relationships through client interactions, account mapping, pipeline, and task management\nDrive engagement with prospective clients through personally crafted sequences and/or marketing provided materials via Highspot\nUse Gong regularly to review client calls, provide product feedback, and self-evaluate\nEffectively prospect new accounts as needed, creatively leveraging various channels including events, Salesforce, LinkedIn Navigator, and others\nAdhere to Salesforce best practices and understands the importance of data hygiene and pipeline management\nSupport the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors\nParticipate in various company initiatives and projects as requested\n\n\n
Skills and Qualifications:
\n\nBachelor’s degree\n2+ years of sales or account management experience\nProven ability to close complex deals with relevant stakeholders and oversee the end-to-end sales process\nPrior experience with Catalyst, Salesforce, or similar CRM to forecast sales and maintain updated records of client interactions\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills with a keen eye for detail\nExemplary presentation skills and comfortable engaging with a diverse array of clients\nInterest in the private equity and venture capital marketplace preferred\nCurious, able, and interested to learn about client needs\nOrganized with terrific prioritization skills\nSelf-motivated, persistent, and goal-oriented attitude and can work effectively as part of a team\nPossess strong negotiation skills, persistence, and resiliency\nProficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily\n\n\n

Compensation
\n\nAnnual base salary: $95,000\nAnnual on target variable commission of fully ramped representative meeting expectations: $72,000\nPitchBook currently has no cap on commission and commission is determined by individual performance\n\n\n
Working Conditions:
\nWe believe our business and our culture are strongest when we work together in person. We also know that it’s helpful to have some flexibility to work remotely. Most roles work in the office 3+ days/week, and some are expected to work in the office 4-5 days/week. The current expectation for this role is that you are working in the office 3+ days/week and that you are in the office full-time during the training period, for which the length varies by role. During an initial phone screen, the team will discuss expectations for this specific position.
\nThe job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis throughout the day. Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events.
