Account Development Representative

We are seeking an Account Development Representative (ADR) to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The ADR’s role is Position Summary: The Account Development Representative (ADR) is expected to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers and actively develop new business opportunities from existing clients. Job requirements include (but are not limited to): + Through regular engagement, cultivate an assigned book of business focused on existing FirstLight customers to establish relationships and identify account expansion opportunities + Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas + Forecast and track key account metrics through the CRM system (Salesforce) + Collaborate with Sales and Sales Engineering to identify and grow opportunities within territory + Develop a deep working knowledge of FirstLight’s broad portfolio of products and services and connect client’s business objectives with FirstLight offerings and solutions Job Qualifications & Preferences: + 2+ years of successful sales experience, preferably within an existing install base + B2B sales experience in a telecom, ISP or Cloud environment preferred + BA/BS degree or equivalent + Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities + Strong verbal and written communication skills Personal Attributes: + Customer Focused: Approaching all opportunities through the lenses of the prospect or customer + Strategic: Able to prioritize and manage multiple prospects within territory + Persuasive: Achieves ‘win-win’ positioning, guiding others to change status quo + Resourceful: Able to overcome obstacles and barriers to find appropriate sales solutions Benefits and Compensation: + FirstLight offers a competitive benefits package including a comprehensive medical benefit, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, 401(k) and flexible work arrangements. + Estimated base annual salary is anticipated to be between $55,000-68,000 plus commission. Pay ranges represent a good faith annual estimate at the time of the job posting.
