The Inside Sales ADR Account Development Representative drives a strategy to identify and engage with accounts that are either potential new business opportunities or require ongoing nurturing through a multi-channel approach including telephone sales activity. Initiates a multi-channel strategy, and manages the quality and alignment of lead generation, ensuring all sales leads are qualified and verified prior to handover to Business Development.
Responsibilities
Prospecting and cold calling to generate new sales opportunities by researching and identifying appropriate accounts and contacts using third party lists and emails, Global Data, BioPharm Insight, Zymewire, web searches, etc. Nurturing leads generated through the website, marketing campaigns, tradeshows, ecommerce and the Curia customer service line; this may include following up on document downloads, evaluating lead sheets and contact lists provided by third parties, converting business cards into accounts/contacts in SalesForce, generating lead lists from tradeshow events, FierceBio emails, Zymewire, etc. Qualifying and driving sales leads through the sales pipeline, documenting all actions and touch points in Salesforce Engaging in preliminary high level technical discussions with potential clients Passing along qualified leads to Business Development (BD) and expediting the process by starting the CDA process, distributing initial RH questionnaires, etc. Conducting market analysis as needed on certain business segments or capabilities to identify and assess competition, understand customer behavior/interests and market trends, determine demographics, etc. Further developing existing accounts by checking customer’s busying history and working with the current BD rep to suggest related and new items, explaining features, function, benefit and proof as needed Participates in BD processes and meetings to ensure consistency and alignment Responsible for developing a defined territory and Curia service offering Promote the company and the brand This position may require up to 10% of time for travel Exhibit safety awareness and safe work practicesQualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a Business or Scientific related field 1-3 years of relative experience Proficiency in CRM, SalesForce Research, manufacturing, engineering, and/or chemical experience a plus Proficiency in software related to Windows including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Strong English verbal and written communication skills, business judgement and acumen Ability to manage time appropriately; work in a fast paced environment and multi-task, all while paying close attention to detail Must be a self-starter and self-motivating Strong organization skills Ability to evaluate processes and procedures, identify bottlenecks and work to find improvements for operational efficiency Ability to quickly and eagerly learn new products/services and systems Proactive attitude Effective at both telephone and email writing skills Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Ability to effectively listen and resolve customer conflictSalary Range: $42,000-$52,600
