ABOUT THE ROLE

This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant team at UM International and play a leading role across two major brands, planning and executing campaigns and projects across a number of EMEA markets and a focus on both B2C and B2B audiences. 

Reporting to a Group Director, the role is ideal for someone looking to work in an international setting and grow in their career, demonstrating leadership capabilities, as well as an eye and appetite for delivering on planning excellence that delivers brand growth; two areas that are very important for these clients.  

 

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To support planning and leadership across Kenvue and Equinor ASA Working with the junior team in all aspects of managing the day-to-day running of the account, with a strong focus on growing UM’s position as a strategic business partner and for Equinor, delivering end to end campaign planning, buying, implementation and reporting. Manage a small team comprising an Account Manager and an Account Executive. The small yet tight-knitted nature of the team means that the candidate will have a 360-degree view of the accounts, overseeing a number of different campaigns and projects from start to finish.  Working in close contact with senior clients and managing the relationship as the account lead.  Inspire the team, by leading by example, and providing clear direction, feedback, and support.  Provide strategic POVs and recommendations to clients.  Champion innovative media solutions in every media plan and push the boundaries of conventional communication thinking.  Strong understanding of marketing theory Work with the team to create effective and innovative pan-regional campaigns. 

 

ABOUT YOU

Previous experience in account management as well as strategy, and the competencies to act as account lead and strategic advisor for clients.  Strong project management skills   Be able to confidently challenge and question assumptions and recommendations that have been made to ensure the best possible delivery for the client.  Have a solid understanding of both offline and digital media channels, with proven experience in digital planning.  Previous experience agency-side in an international or local media agency role, with management experience.  Presentation skills; must be able to present to senior-level clients and also peers.  Comfortable working with corporate clients.  Super interpersonal skills, and build excellent working relationships with colleagues.  Understanding of Media Markets across key EMEA markets.
