What you’ll doAs an Account Executive, Enterprise focused on India, you will be at the forefront of Stripe’s expansion, breaking into the market and driving adoption among the country’s fastest-growing enterprises. This is a pure hunter role - owning the full sales cycle from outbound prospecting to closing high-impact deals and expanding relationships with strategic accounts. We’re looking for a user-first seller who thrives in fast-changing environments, builds deep relationships with C-level stakeholders, and knows how to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales in India.
Your mission: help Indian merchants scale globally by positioning Stripe as their essential payments and financial infrastructure partner. You’ll work cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to craft tailored solutions, lead high-stakes commercial negotiations, and execute long-term sales strategies that cement Stripe’s presence in the Indian market.
You are a driven, high-energy salesperson combined with technical knowledge who knows how to build a pipeline from scratch, hunt for new opportunities, and win over enterprise clients through persistence and strategic execution. You excel at engaging C-level executives—including CTOs, COOs, and CFOs—in both business and technical conversations, quickly earning trust and positioning Stripe as a must-have solution. With a proven track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals, you take a consultative approach while maintaining a relentless focus on driving revenue.

Minimum requirements 8+ years of software sales experience selling to Enterprise and Digital Natives in SEA and India market, preferably at a technology company, with a track record of top performance Superior verbal and written communication skills in English and Tamil / Hindi Ability to understand the Stripe API and build great relationships with highly technical customers Ability to understand complex requirements and create value through solution selling Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities including comfort with basic modeling Experience building strong account relationships with Enterprises in SEA & India Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment Strong interest in technology Preferred requirementsPrior experience at a growth stage Internet / Software company
