Account Executive, NY Construction Team
The Account Executive is responsible for exceeding our Retention Goals and preventing E&O exposure by implementing the MMA-NE Service and Operational standards. This client-facing role requires building strong relationships with clients, intermediaries, and the insurance marketplace. The position involves interacting with clients, intermediaries, insurance markets, accounting, marketing, claims, loss control, and management to provide exceptional service. The Account Executive must maintain accounts proactively and collaborate professionally with producers, team members, and office staff. They possess a high level of expertise, can work independently, and are expected to provide supervision, assistance, leadership, and development to junior staff members.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Client interface at pre-renewal/stewardship, renewal proposal presentation, claim review and loss control meetings.Carry out Service Calendar tasks.Fully utilize MMA-NE resources, MMC and MMA Benchmarking, Risk Mapping and other Data Analytics tools .Directly responsible for client contract review program.Participate in the coordination of loss control, risk management, and Exposure Analysis services.Trending and loss development analysis.Interact with Insurance Carriers. Carry out ongoing client service functions, including, but not limited to:Trending and loss development analysisContract reviewDraft Stewardship presentationReview ModMaster calculations Draft proposals and presentationsDirectly responsible for MMA-NE coverage standards and identifying any coverage deficiencies.Transmission of information to clients and insurance companies.Finalize and present Stewardship report.Review ModMaster calculations with Client.Finalize new/renewal proposals, charts and presentations.Ensure coverage standards and identify coverage deficiencies .Renewal Checklist ProceduresBinding Checklist ProceduresPolicy AuditsWC Dividend calculationsWC Retro LOC Loss Fund AdjustmentsSupervise billing and invoicing to include Bi monthly aging and discrepancy reports Transmission of information to clients and insurance companiesSupervise policy EndorsementsHigh level review of Certificates of Insurance issuesWorking as directed with outside vendor servicesOther duties assignedQUALIFICATIONS
10+ years of insurance brokerage experience, ideally in a client servicing role.Must have multiple years of experience working with New York Construction industry clients.Must possess an active Property & Casualty Agent’s/Broker’s license.Must be well organized with excellent math, written and oral communication skills and also possess strong technical skills.High School Diploma required. A college degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Finance, Insurance or other relevant program highly preferred.Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Valuable benefits.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
