As an SMB Account Executive, you will be responsible for originating new business opportunities, managing the entire sales cycle, and closing deals with small and medium-sized businesses. You will leverage your sales skills and industry knowledge to identify prospects, build relationships, and drive revenue growth. This role requires a proactive, results-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to our company’s success.Key Responsibilities Prospecting and Lead Generation:Identify and target potential SMB clients through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and networking events.Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities.Sales Cycle Management:Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client requirements and pain points.Present and demonstrate our products/services to prospects, showcasing how they address client needs and deliver value.Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals, including pricing and contract terms.Relationship Building:Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within SMB organizations.Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the sales process, ensuring a positive and professional experience.Closing Deals:Negotiate and finalize contracts to close business deals, ensuring alignment with company policies and objectives.Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and quotas on a consistent basis.Market and Product Expertise:Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to effectively position our solutions.Maintain a deep understanding of our product/service offerings and their benefits to SMB clients.Reporting and Documentation:Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status in the CRM system.Provide regular updates and reports on sales performance, opportunities, and market feedback.Collaboration:Work closely with the marketing, sales development, and product teams to ensure alignment and support for sales efforts.Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and sales strategy discussions to contribute to overall team success.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Proven track record of successful sales experience, ideally in an SMB sales environment.Experience in the Ecommerce or Consumer Goods industryExperience working with Ecommerce Agency partners is a plusStrong understanding of sales processes, techniques, and best practices.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels.Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and drive to achieve goals.Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.What We OfferCompetitive base salary with uncapped commission potential.Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance.Opportunities for career growth and professional development.A dynamic and supportive work environment.Flexible work arrangements, including remote options.How to Apply: If you are a proactive and results-driven sales professional with a passion for helping SMBs succeed, we would love to hear from you.
