Our remote Account Executive, Travel Advisor have the earning potential of $80,000 – $190,000 annually (base + commission). In this role you will:

\n\nDemonstrate passion for curating extraordinary travel experiences for high-net-worth guests \nHandle inbound sales calls from consumers, identify their needs, and make travel recommendations (no cold calling, ever)\nMake follow-up outbound calls, overcome objections, and close the sale\nProvide personalized recommendations based on guests’ preferences and interests\nBuild lasting relationships to drive consumer loyalty\nExplain cruise itineraries, onboard amenities, and pricing details\nMaintain accurate records of interactions and follow up with leads\nEnjoy working from home in a fully virtual environment\nContinuously exercise high ethical standards\nRemain coachable, open to feedback, highly motivated and driven to succeed with an entrepreneurial spirit\n\n

To be successful you will need:

\n\nExperience as an Account Executive or similar sales role (preferred)\n2+ years experience as an Account Executive or in a similar sales role, specifically in luxury sales (preferred)\nDemonstrated success in meeting and exceeding monetary sales KPI metrics (required)\nStrong experience in making sales over the phone \nExceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills\nAbility to build and maintain relationships with high-end clients\nThis position is not suitable for entry-level candidates or those seeking customer service roles\nFlexibility in your schedule, to include evenings, weekends, and holidays\n\n\n\n\nAvailability must be flexible 5am PST – 7 pm PST and weekend availability \nWe offer one weekday and one weekend day off each week\n\n\nDiscipline to work in a structured environment with schedule adherence standards \nPrevious sales experience with ability to close on the first call\nProficiency with basic computer applications and equipment (MS Word, Teams, Outlook)\nMust be able to provide: \n\n    A distraction-free workspace/environment (at home)\n   Space for a desktop computer with 2-3 monitors\n   Stable power source and internet connection: \n\nDedicated high-speed internet (minimum) of 25 Mbps Upload and Download Speeds and ethernet connection (connection cannot be Wireless, Wi-Fi extenders, Wi-Fi repeaters, MiFi's, or Hotspots)\n\n\n\n\n\n

What We Offer You:

\n\nHighly competitive compensation plan breakdown \n\nAverage earning potential of $90,000 annually (hourly base + commission). Hourly pay is determined by a myriad of factors including, but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, and other relevant business considerations. \nHistoric annual average commission of $53,000 (based on overall department performance and the terms of the applicable commission plan)\nEmployees are eligible for annual discretionary bonus.\n401(k) plan with company match.\n\nFull benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance at a highly subsidized rate (some plans are fully paid by Viking).\nPaid training (hourly pay + guaranteed commission for first 3 months) \nAccrue 15 paid vacation days, sick time accrual by state, and 6 paid holidays per year.\nOpportunity to take a free and/or discounted cruise.\nHighly subsidized gym membership.\nDiscounts on theatres, theme parks, movie tickets, travel discounts through IATA membership and too many more discounts to name.\n\n
