Account Executive, Video & Programmatic Sales

Join the Crackle Connex Ad Sales team, the premium AVOD and FAST Connected TV supply from Crackle, Redbox, and affiliated CTV services. Crackle Connex CTV supply is viewed by millions of viewers across Connected TV distribution platforms that include Samsung, Fire TV, Roku, Vizio and LG. 

The Role

We are seeking a part-time CTV/Streaming Video Ad Sales Executive to generate new business through outreach to strategy, planning, video investment, and programmatic trading teams at brands and agencies. As part of the Crackle Connex Ad Sales team, this incumbent will prospect and leverage their own contacts to drive video ad investment leads. 

This role is intended to grow Crackle’s value proposition among video investment teams and programmatic buying teams at agencies, brands, and select DSP’s. The individual will work closely with the programmatic Ad Operations team to ensure campaign delivery KPI’s are delivered to establish a renewable book of guaranteed business and private marketplace deals. 

The ideal candidate will have experience selling CTV/Video, programmatic experience, and be fluent with the currency and nomenclature of the programmatic ecosystem and video space, to include supply side, demand side, and data management platforms. You’ll be able to utilize your strong relationships, present to buyers at all levels, and excel in a fast paced, ‘start-up’ like organization. 

Key Responsibilities:

Increase CTV/Streaming Video revenues and deal flow across publisher portfolio to include Crackle, Redbox, Chicken Soup for the Soul, and Popcornflix  Effectively communicate Crackle Connex value proposition across variety of buying and planning teams in established agency list and/or territory Understand and promote Crackle Connex programmatic capabilities and advanced TV solutions  Collaborate with the Crackle Connex team as it looks to establish its premium CTV differentiators in the 2024-25 upfront: Nurture and develop programmatic trading teams and agencies Engage and entertain key buyers as needed Sell to and manage relationships with DSPs, SSP’s, and other demand partners Utilize platform tools for campaign management, trouble shooting, and reporting; perform other related duties as needed As a resourceful and accountable self-starter, provide timely responses and service to our clients Perform other related duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization

Education & Experience

5+ years of digital/OLV/CTV ad sales, programmatic sales, or buying experience and/or programmatic account management within the TV/Video landscape Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred; a High School Diploma or GED is required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Working knowledge of national brand advertisers and agencies as well as independent and mid-market shops Strong technical understanding of TV, digital media, as well as emerging advanced TV and data strategies Skilled in both transactional account management as well as organic new business development on sell or buy side Desire and capability to perform effectively and professionally within a fast paced ‘start-up like’ business  Ability to effectively utilize established relationships; track record for developing programmatic ad business Excellent communication skills; verbal, written, presentation, and negotiation Reputation for excellence among peers Ability to attend industry events and tradeshows as needed

Base salary range of $6,000 - $8,000 per month. Actual base salary varies based on factors including but not limited to relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location. This position is also eligible to earn sales incentive compensation. The base salary range does not reflect the total compensation potential of the role.
