The Sales Account Executive generates advertising revenue by calling on local businesses.  The Account Executive will be tasked with presenting television and digital marketing opportunities to potential clients.

Implements strategies to consistently grow and exceed revenue goalsEstablishes trusting relationships with the local business communityMakes sales calls on existing and prospective clientsMaintains and grows accounts as well as develops new accountsPrepares and delivers sales presentations to clientsWorks with the station’s creative department to develop and produce client commercialsPerforms other duties as assigned

Requirements & Skills:

BA or BS in Business, Marketing, Advertising or Communications preferredMinimum one year’s sales experience in the media field, preferredEffective communication/client presentation skillsAbility to interact with high-level decision makersExcellent follow-up, strong organizational skills/attention to detailProven ability to meet/exceed sales goalsProficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word & ability to become proficient on in-house sales systemsValid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
