General Description

Responsible for executing the sales and marketing plan and managing the relationship with key contributors in the assigned business channel. Implement various sales techniques, as needed, to promote distribution of new products and programs. Ensures that the sales offerings are compliant with the Joint Marketing Agreements, and applicable rules and regulations.  Monitors run-off portfolio revenue and process performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for executing the sales and marketing plan and managing the relationship with key contributors in their assigned business channel.   Sales techniques include telemarketing, direct mail and person to person. Offers support / guidance to sales representatives, BPPR personnel and other key stakeholders related to products managed. Promotes new products and programs by developing product training, related compliance and sales techniques. Monitors sales offerings performed with business partners and compliance with Joint Marketing Agreements (JMA) requirements for telemarketing, digital, and/or mailing offerings. Monitors run-off portfolio procedures (including credit insurance portfolio) such as cancellations, complaints, and claims requests.  Support Bancassurance Team in investigating and gathering data for External/Internal Audit, Compliance and Regulatory related requests Responsible for self-assessment of the sales channels together with the collection of evidence to support responses. Develops monthly sales reports, including analysis and variances. Monitors sales performance and process efficiency.  Implement strategies for effective communication with stakeholders, including results and action items. Communicates with management and users to assure smooth functioning of newly implemented Unit procedures.  Ensures that procedures are updated. Designs and performs testing and validation activities for processes of the Sales unit.

 

Education Bachelor's DegreeExperience

At least five years of related experience. Experience in sales and process management preferred. Knowledge of insurance, credit cards or personal loans operations desirable.

Certifications / Licenses

Puerto Rico Insurance Commissioner license (Preferred).

Other Qualifications Knowledge of Insurance products, services, underwriting, and business laws and regulations. Knowledge of MS Excel, and Power Point required. Power BI desirable. Fully bilingual (Spanish and English). Knowledge of MS Excel, and Power Point required. Power BI desirable. Customer Focused Analytical skills Problem Solver, timely and successful. Capacity to work in teams and collaborate with peers to meet common goals. Ability to work with multiple tasks simultaneously and under pressure. Ability to organize and administer time effectively. Successful in complying with deadlines
