Account Executive

Summary

Our team is growing, and we are seeking an experienced Account Executive to join the Construction unit in our Commercial Lines team. The ideal candidate has prior experience leading the insurance strategy for large construction clients.

Responsibilities:

Maintain HUB professional service standards as required and ensure team complianceMaintain appropriate professional licensing and continuing educationDocument daily activity in compliance with HUB corporate standards and ensure team compliancePursue professional development opportunitiesMaintain familiarity with industry trends and new insurance productsBe responsible for the quality of HUB client deliverables, i.e. policy analysis, loss analysis, risk profile analysisCollaborate with producers as required to maximize account management resultsCollaborate with Marketing as required to maximize account management resultsCollaborate with CPU as required to maximize account management resultsReview client insurance related contracts as necessaryPrepare management reports as necessaryAcquire understanding of client insurance objectives and critically analyze and compare insurance terms and conditionsTrouble shoot, issue spot, and problem solve matters between the client and the insurance companyManage and hold periodic client meetings such as a Stewardship or Pre-Renewal meetingDevelop new and expanded business opportunitiesManage underwriting and carrier relationships to the benefit of your clientele

Qualifications:

7+ years of Commercial Lines Insurance experience within an agencyCurrent Property/Casualty Insurance LicenseFour year college degree preferredExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to issue spot, provide proactive customer service, and demonstrated problem solving skillsAbility to prioritize and multitaskProficiency with computer systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Office and automated Agency Management SystemsAbility to work in a collaborative team environmentDemonstrated high-level attention to detailAvailable for occasional business travelAdvanced professional designation(s) highly desirableBe part of a motivated team

The compensation range for this position is $120,000- $135,000 annually, depending on experience.

Department Account Management & Service
