Marsh is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Perth office:

Account Executive.

Your role is to provide professional advisory support to a portfolio of large to medium sized accounts, ensuring high quality customer service is always provided. The portfolio includes working in support of a Principal & National Manager on group purchasing and servicing of clients across the Motor and Retail space.

We will count on you to:

Meet and exceed service standards agreed in the client’s service agreement.Consistently meet and exceed revenue and expense budgets; Develop and maintain effective long-term relationships with key client decision makers and frequently monitor political, management and other changes within the client organisations to preserve and protect the Company's relationship with the client.Take a pro-active approach to all aspects of account management and service delivery to clients, ensuring client needs are identified and met in line with agreed service standards; (Client First Principles).Implement successful account retention and defence strategies.Maintain an awareness of all large and potentially complicated claim related matters and assist claims personnel in the negotiation of equitable claim settlements on behalf of clients.Engage with and manage all internal stakeholders in delivering ‘all of Marsh’ to your client base.

What you need to have:

Tier 1 Insurance Broking Compliance qualification.Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking) highly desirable.3+ years’ experience in a similar role - broking or underwriting.Sound knowledge and application of broking principles, insurance products and service. These apply to general insurance products and services.Clear and effective communication skills.Developed negotiation skills.Ability to work autonomously within a multi skilled team.Ability to work under pressure, prioritise workload, meet deadlines and good time management skills
