In this remote role, you will play a critical part in driving our growth by connecting with teachers, administrators, and education leaders. Persistence, creativity, and resilience are essential, along with a deep passion for education. You must be based in the territory, eligible to work in the US, and willing to travel.

What You’ll Do

As an Account Executive at Kai’s Education, you’ll be responsible for a geographic sales region, converting both inbound leads and outbound prospects into Kai’s Education customers.

Consistently achieve quarterly sales targets. Research school district prospects, identify key stakeholders, and position Kai’s Education as an essential solution for STEAM education. Engage with and nurture prospects throughout the buying process using email, phone, and video conferencing. Take responsibility for converting marketing-qualified leads into happy customers. Become a trusted partner for both prospects and existing customers, providing ongoing support and fostering strong relationships. Employ and optimize repeatable sales techniques tailored to the education space. Provide feedback to sales leadership to ensure constant process improvement. Utilize CRM and marketing automation tools to record, analyze, and optimize your sales activities. Conduct discovery calls, identify needs, demo Kai’s Clan and KaiBot, and negotiate pricing. Attend state and national education conferences (travel <25%). Share your EdTech or teaching experiences with the team and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve your goals.

What You’ll Bring

A winning mindset with a passion for STEAM education. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy sales environment. A positive, coachable attitude. Minimum two (2) years of success in a sales role, ideally in K-12 EdTech or SaaS; K-12 teaching experience is a plus (Two-plus years preferred). Strong written and verbal communication skills. A consultative sales approach with the ability to build rapport quickly. Passion for educating prospects and closing new opportunities. A knack for asking insightful discovery questions to uncover new opportunities for Kai’s Education across the territory. A college degree or relevant experience. A self-starter with a documented track record of success.
