Fox TV StationsFOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network’s national content.JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Fox Owned Television Station in Los Angeles Plus is seeking an Account Executive who is equal parts personable, detail oriented, and self-motivated with a desire to be part of the station’s best in class team! We have a diverse culture that believes in supporting, mentoring, and training our staff. We are searching for an experienced Account Executive who can maintain and grow existing accounts, while actively pursuing and growing new business. We will require general knowledge of and some experience in selling traditional linear TV and streaming television. Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain and grow existing client list by utilizing our market leading FOX stations, digital properties, and industry leading FLX platform to create impactful marketing campaigns for advertising partners. Develop a consistent stream of new business and manage the entire sales cycle to achieve monthly revenue targets. Gain key insight on client goals and objectives to make presentations and recommendations to successfully achieve them with all of our offerings. Responsible for selling sponsorships that may include promotions initiated by salespersons.Ability to create impactful multi-platform advertising campaigns that include KTTV/KTTV+, KTTV Digital offerings, and FLX. Utilize all available sales tools to educate clients on the broadcast landscape and develop value propositions to earn client’s business.Manage and maintain campaigns to ensure all deliverables are met and provide superb after-sales support to develop long lasting partnerships.Client entertainment as necessary, (potentially evenings and/or weekends)Client direct contacts at small and medium sized businesses along with car dealer relationships is a plus.Other duties assigned as deemed necessary and appropriate.Minimum Requirements:
Media sales or other outside sales experience preferred.Ability to create, present, and sell through opportunities to Clients and Advertising agencies.Experience with Wide Orbit, Wide Orbit Media Sales, and Kantar applications a plus.Ideal candidate is very familiar with sports and the local Los Angeles teams/franchises.Proficiency in MS Office programs including Excel, Power Point, Word, and Outlook and software in general.We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
