Job Title: Account Executive
Reports to: Research & Development Manager
Job Purpose: To ensure that all finished goods stock are ready and available to be despatched in line with customer’s orders and requirements whilst adhering to the Service Level Agreements,(SLA).
Role Responsibilities:
• Service Excellence
Translation of customer forecasts and orders into accurate production work instructionsResponsible for raising, processing and managing customer’s ordersUndertake vendor and forecast analysisMaintain and understand internal and external customers Service Level Agreements (SLA)Investigate and resolve invoice, credit and customer complaints/queriesResponsible for the smooth and effective organisation of all administration procedures for the businessUse web-based and manual management information system to support all aspects of the customer service functionEnsure customer terms are adhered to and aged stocks are controlled and invoiced accordinglyWork closely with Supply Chain to monitor and maintain raw materials and finished goods to Service Level Agreements parametersLiaise on relevant product lines being developed, ordered and shipped in line with customer demandCritical path management to ensure orders are met and timelines adhered to
• Driving Results
Manage department’s Key Performance Indicators to meet agreed targetsInvestigate and manage corrective actions which arise from feedbackIdentify and highlight opportunities to increase margins/profitability and efficienciesHighlight opportunities for cost effective production batchingProvide accurate and timely work instructions to production
• Managing Relationships
Develop and maintain effective internal and external customer relationshipsProvide support Business Development/Sales functionAttend customer briefings/meetings/reviews
Knowledge, skills, experience:
Experience within a B2B Customer Service environment, experience gained within the print packaging industry would be advantageousExperience of managing and developing relationships with multiple customersExperience of continuous improvement initiatives/projectsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsGood attention to detail and problem-solving skillsGood organisational skills and disciplined approachGood working knowledge of IT software; i.e. Microsoft OfficeSelf-motivation with the ability to think individually with well-reasoned decision-making qualitiesAbility to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced & high-volume manufacturing environmentAbility to react quickly and adapt to change on a daily basisFlexibility in both thought and action, offering proactive, creative solutions and improvementsPassionate about results and fundamental belief in Health & Safety, Quality, performance and trainingAbility to prioritise workload, use own initiative, work within a team as well as work on your own Candidates are required to undergo a drug screening after receiving a conditional job offer, but before starting employment.
