Account Executive

This position serves as the day-to-day point-of-contact for multi-project accounts (external and internal contact lead). The account executive oversees project and financial management functions for projects with limited management supervision, and assists manager with organic new business growth within existing accounts.

Client Management

Executes plan of action for delivering projects with oversight from senior managementFacilitate regular touch points with client to develop relationshipIdentify efficiencies and areas of improvement for account and project work

Project Management

Executes plan of action for delivering projects with oversight from senior managementDemonstrate superior organizational skills in the following areas:Project timeline development and carry throughInformation and task delegation to internal team membersInternal process complianceClient teleconference and meeting preparationProject initiation and action plan development (internal and external)Ability to manage multiple projects within a given accountDemonstrate superior written and oral communication skills with clients and internal team membersDemonstrate ability to troubleshoot and make decisions with little oversight from senior management

Financial Management

Executes plan of action for delivering projects with oversight from senior managementDemonstrate superior organizational skills in the following areas:Estimate and statement of work development for new projectsClient signed estimate, PO, and invoice trackingRegular and accurate budget reconciliations for all projectsCommunicating budget-related details to clientDemonstrate ability to analyze project utilization reports and identify areas that require scope and budget changes

Business Development

Assist senior management with assigned proposal and new business presentation development for organic growth with existing clients

Business and Product Knowledge

Demonstrate understanding of Cadent Medical Communication’s capabilities and service offeringsDemonstrate strong knowledge of the medical communications and promotional industryDemonstrate understanding and acumen of the following:Therapeutic area marketplaceProduct and brand

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, in related field1-2 years relevant experience in medical communication, marketing or advertising, or healthcare field, with experience in project management, timeline development, and client management experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsPhysician, HCP, or patient marketing or educational activity experience, preferred

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $70,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
