Job Summary
Manages sales activities of assigned accounts, territory and product line by performing the following duties personally. Territory is the Western US.
Duties and Responsibilities
Direct and organize the marketing, external sales and internal sales activities for the assigned area. Control and update CRM accounts, opportunities, and other relevant sales details for reporting purposes. Reviews customer information to determine customer needs, volume potential and discount rates as they relate to the assigned region, and develops sales campaigns to close individual sales. Recommends to the assigned accounts product simplification and standardization. Represents company at trade shows to promote product. Coordinates liaison between assigned region, accounts, and CST personnel. Controls personal expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements. Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume and potential sales. Coordinate and optimize travel within assigned territory.
Preferred Qualifications
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Education and/or Experience:
Associate’s degree from two-year college or university; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general-public.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
Other Skills And Abilities:
Prepare quotes and estimates from customer specifications. Up to 50% Travel and public speaking abilities are required. Access to personal transportation is required for travel.
