**Job Summary and Qualifications**
The role of Account Executive for the Outreach/Community Hospital Affiliation Program is responsible for new business development and retaining current business from key accounts in our outreach markets.
**What you will do in this role:**
+ Complete sales calls on key accounts, hospital leaders in the facilities, medical directors, and supervisory staff to close new or additional business, ensuring that internal and external obstacles to business growth and retention are identified and minimized or eliminated.
+ Conduct face-to-face sales meetings with key community physicians surrounding target rural hospitals, medical groups, and other staff, ensuring that a thorough understanding is gained regarding the customer’s needs, issues, and opportunities.
+ Work with the VP of Sales and other sales team members in the division to develop strategies that facilitate new business and retain current business from key accounts in our outreach markets throughout the Division.
+ Work with the VP of Sales and other sales team members to prepare and present strategic plans, monthly sales reports, identify trends, competitive intelligence, additional business opportunities, and obstacles to new business growth throughout the Division
+ Continuously evaluate (and modify when needed), sales strategies and plans to ensure optimal business outcomes and “win-win” results for long term growth market opportunities.
+ In collaboration with the VP of Sales and CEOs, evaluate, analyze, and interpret market utilization data for market facilities’ service lines, including market share data for primary facility service lines, ensuring that sales priorities are identified and measured.
**Qualifications you will need:**
+ Requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in business, healthcare administration, or public health administration from an accredited college or university; Master’s degree in Health Administration, Business, or Economics preferred
+ Requires a minimum of five (5) years of progressive healthcare sales experience. Key Account and International Business Development is preferred. Documented sales performance success, strong work ethic, and ability to work highly independently are also required.
