Account Executive - Fire Life Safety

As part of our growth strategy, Albireo Energy will increase sales staffing and are currently looking for an Service Sales Account Representative who will be responsible for profitable and aggressive sales growth in the San Diego, CA area. The Service Sales Account Representative should have experience in owner direct sales as well as the plan and spec market, preferably in a large organization where they have gained experience and appreciation for a disciplined approach to account management and the competitive bid process. The Service Sales Account Representative is both End-User and Contractor-Focused and has the primary responsibility to manage and grow the new construction business in the assigned territory through the electrical contracting tier and electrical consulting engineers.
+ Sales of fire life safety service contracts
+ Tenant Improvement project sales
+ Sales of new fire life safety systems
+ Renewal of fire life safety service contracts
+ Develop and maintain relationships with end users, contractors and consulting engineers
+ Work with operations, and other branch resources as needed to obtain the sale
+ Prospect for and qualify new service and construction opportunities
+ Prepare estimates, scope of work / proposals, and sales presentations
+ Negotiate final approved pricing and scope of work with end users and contractors
+ Provide sales support to service and installation departments
+ Attend sales meetings and training seminars
+ Team sales with other sales executives
+ Achieve annual revenue and gross margin targets
+ Track sales activities and forecast sales opportunities in CRM
Requirements
+ Ability to estimate new fire life safety inspections, material, labor, and subcontractor costs
+ 2+ years of experience in sales in the fire alarm industry
+ Proven success in owner direct sales
+ Ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical, & fire alarm drawings
+ Extensive knowledge and understanding of all local, state, and federal code requirements
+ Must embrace use of CRM tool for pipeline and activity management
+ Effective communication skills to give presentations before a broad audience
+ Hunter sales mentality is a must
+ Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Salary Range: $75k-$105k base DOE.
