Account Executive - Global Forwarding

C.H. Robinson is looking to fill a Global Forwarding Account Executive role. In this role you will manage a portfolio of small-sized accounts within the office or broader C.H. Robinson portfolio of business. In addition, you will also support the team with driving communication for all new network customer opportunities. As a primary point of contact for our customers, you'll ensure timely delivery, troubleshoot problems, and proactively seek enhancements while harnessing C.H. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:  

Build credible and personalized relationships at multiple levels across functional departments within the customer supply chain  

Leverage network subject matter experts (SMEs) to collaborate on the solution and pipeline development of product, mode, or service line opportunities  

Conduct regular business reviews as needed by the account to uncover new opportunities for growth, increase sales, and retain and grow the business  

Proactively manage customer pricing strategy by leveraging internal tech, tools, and SMEs  

Expand market share by driving a qualification process with an active opportunity pipeline within a Customer Relationships Management (CRM) tool  

Provide customers with timely and relevant updates on the market and C.H. Robinson 

Act as an advocate for customers, internally conveying customer-specific needs across the organization to ensure proper alignment and prioritization of resources  

Ensure customer performance expectations are met by collaborating with internal partners to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner 

Review internal dashboards, financial results, volume, and service performance reports to create efficiencies and drive continuous improvement      

Adopt and apply new tools and processes that improve overall workflow  

  

QUALIFICATIONS  

Required:  

High School Diploma or GED   

Ability to travel 25-30%  

Minimum 2 years of global forwarding operations experience

 

Preferred:  

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university   

Passion for sales and building customer relationships  

Attention to detail and strong analytical skills  

Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, including the ability to persuade, motivate and influence others    

Ability to define, develop and document business processes and procedures   

Driven, enthusiastic, persistent, confident, highly motivated and results focused
